Sampled from the tap at the Slabtown location. Pours black with a chestnut brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has earthy dark grains and earthy chocolate with a hint of coconut. Flavor has earthy bread and dark grains with a bit of coconut and chocolate backing.

Bottle. Blackish beer with a brown head. Chocolate and nutty aroma with toast. Chocolate and dark fruit flavor with roast and nuttiness. Medium bodied. Chocolate and roast linger with dark fruit and nuttiness.

22oz bottle at share. dark brown pour with a small beige head. Chocolate first in the nose, coconut some coffee. Taste brings it all together, sweet, dessert-y goodness. Delicious.

22oz bottle pours out dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is sweet coconut milk chocolate and a touch of coffee. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate milk coconut vanilla and some light coffee.

Bottle. Black body with medium off white head. Coconut aroma. Malty taste with chocolate and coconut. Good as a dessert beer.

22 ounce bottle. Pours a pitch black hue with a medium light brown head. A big sweet nose, coconut and roast. Vanilla, big coconut, but the coconut is really oily, not super sweet, some light roast, cocoa. I'd like to see a roastier metallic base to balance out the sweetness, but this is very good.
