Woodside Series Beer Release! Warm up with this bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout! It is a big, black, vicious stout with chocolate, coffee, caramel, and roasted notes under an obvious whiskey blanket from sleeping in Wild Turkey barrels for 9 months. Pours oil black and thick with an off white head.

2021 version. Sampler at the Payette BF event A muddy brown pour. Some woody light brown sugar toasted malt aroma. Bitter and sharp and woody. Not much dark roast. A little boozy but a raw unfiltered feel. Not great

Bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is some barrel booze vanilla chocolate. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate bourbon barrel booze vanilla coffee roast malts and some sweetness.

22 oz bottle from Toby, typical black body, small beige head. Aroma starts with the booze, chocolate and vanilla follow. Taste adds a little coffee, more dark chocolaty malts, and plenty of alcohol warmth.
