16 oz can from Tavour. Pours out black with a thin creamy beige head which disappears to nothing, still and slick.Aroma is a melange of scents, roast, chocolate, light vanilla. Tastetaste follows, sweet, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, a touch of bitterness and a bit of alcohol warmth. Pretty solid throughout.

Can from huskertan, thanks: pours black with brown head. Aroma is vanilla, caramel, chocolate, and hints of booze. Taste is rather sweet without being too cloying. Very clear vanilla and caramel flavors. Bitterness is low. Body is thick, chewy and creamy. Aftertaste is chocolatey and actually a little dry. Quite good.

Can. A- Vanilla. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Vanilla, burnt sugar, sweet cream, tobacco, cocoa, subtle iron, roasty. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly oxidized finish. O- White Elm kills it with their stouts, making some of the best I've ever had. While this is good, these pasty style stouts are just not quite up to the extremely high standards I have for White Elm. This is really good, don't get me wrong, but it's just a tad too sugary for me to love it. Solid beer though.
