In early November 2019 we joined forces with Kyle from Horus Aged Ales to create Cordial Cherry, the highest gravity stout produced at Parish to date. Pouring a deep, ebony hue with a faint chestnut head, Cordial Cherry emits aromas of melted chocolate, glazed cherries, and vanilla creme patissiere. Hundreds of pounds of chocolate and sweet cherries are used in brewing and conditioning along with mounds of toasted almonds and Tahitian Vanilla, emulating Queen Anne chocolate covered cherries, Danish pastries, and chocolate chip cookies replete with a decadent, chewy mouthfeel.

16 oz can from Tavour, 2/23/20.  Chocolate covered cherry sums it up pretty well.  Drinks pretty sweet.  Fairly boozy, slightly dry.  Nice stuff.   8/4/7/4/16

16 oz. Aroma is chocolate, cherry, bready. Pours black with a one finger dark tan head with good retention. Taste is moderately to highly sweet, lightly tart, with lots of chocolate flavor, some cherry, vanilla. Not really getting the almond. Perfect mouthfeel. A little too rich for me, but not bad.

16 oz can from Tavour. Black, oily pour, tiny ring of brown head, almost purple tinges. Aroma is roast malts and cherry. Taste is full, sweet cherry and bitter roast melding nicely, with the vanilla and almond adding subtle nuances. Thick, slick with a latent warmth.
