Pours amber brown with a one finger off white head. Smells of nuts and toasted caramel malt. Toasted caramel and nut flavor is malty with very mild hops. To me it drinks more like a brown ale than I expected, but whatever, it’s good.

29/9/2025. Can shared by SHIG, cheers! Good looking pour. Aroma is malted, toasted, molasses, dried fruits, bready, caramel, treacle and liquorice hints. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, quite smooth, average to soft carbonation. Earthy, malted chocolate finish. Liked this.

On tap at Pies and Pints Morgantown. Clear copper with small white head. Aroma is nice caramel malt, medium/light body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is caramel malt with balancing herbal hops and slightly bitter finish. Usually this style is just malty, but this beer is interestingly different due to the balancing of the beer
