Lemon, barley malt, and grass/fresh hay aroma. Hazy pale yellow with giant white head. Mildly sweet citrus, malt, and moderately bitter hay flavor. Good body - metallic aftertaste.

Pounder can from kroger, Less than 2$. Initially the taste of some of that adolescent attitude of a new brewer. Clear pale. Not really sure of this is a pilz or not. Has some attributes of Vienna in thar. Yea, maybe a premium lager or a vienna, just saying. Sure seems the IBU is much greater than 40, whew, must be that astringent teenage bite; I guess. There, you have it. Not one of the best pilz I've had.
Gold pour. Thin foam. Sweet flavor of wheat. Grassy tasting palate. Easy carbonation.

Pounder: Slightly tinny hay nose. Clear golden, medium head, nice lace. Grass and clay, slightly vegetal. Light body, easy carbonation.

Enjoyable pils, crisp and grainy and bright, with a formidable floral hop bite accentuating mild pilsner malt sweetness and notes of lemon and bread. Slightly toasted finish adds heft to the back end. Nice.

16 ounce can from the Beckley, WV Kroger, 12/21/19. Hazy peach, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of doughy malt, floral hop, marzipan, stone fruit. Taste is pale bready malt, nuts, floral and herbal hops. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness, crisp, well balanced. Pretty nice.

On tap at PNP Charleston. Hazy deep golden with small white head. Aroma is light malt, medium/light body, medium carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is caramel malt, Pilsner malt, floral malt, pine hops, and slightly bitter finish.
