500ml corked bottle, 2025 vintage. Caramel aroma with notes of toffee, cherry, dark fruit, spicy yeast, clove and chocolate. Pours dark caramel brown colored with a finger of tan head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with caramel, toffee, chocolate and clove flavors as well as having a medium body and smooth mouthfeel. Finishes quite smooth but a bit dry with cherry, spicy yeast and dark fruit flavor. Good quad, the cherries add brightness to it that’s very enjoyable.

On tap at Monkless, pours a hazy mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, candi sugar and a hint of berry. Flavour is boozy and estery, with improperly utilized Belgian yeast and plenty of candi sugar. The cherries aren't that prominent. Yet another inept Belgian beer from these Americans—not terrible but just not dialled in right.

.5l bottle from Tavour. Mahogany colored pour, small, creamy beige head. Aroma is sweet, raisins, woody, cherries. Cherries linger into the flavor, sweet pit fruit flavors, woody barrel notes and some alcohol heat. Creamy feel with a nice sting.
