More Belching Beaver brews showing up on the shelves locally, good by me. I found a pint can of Tiempos Buenos at the nearest HEB and have it ready to taste. My Cowtown snifter out for this beer, I pour to determine an opaque, distinctly yellow body with a minimal amount of white, very fine bubbles. I call the scent fresh. As in field and citrus and water. And the taste is likewise pleasant without being earth shattering. Malt, light lemon, grain and a dry finish. It seems denser than lagers I am used to. It leans towards the top of the style for me. The weather is good here in Texas.

Can Golden beer with an off-white head. Mineral and light malt aroma. Mineral and grass flavor. Medium bodied. Grass and mineral notes linger with light malt.

The Aromas are pale malt with a little bit of corn and hops. Flavors are like nose, corn stands out more, as does sweet over bitter. Good carbonation and average body. Sweet lingers into the Finish thankfully cut with a little Carbonic tang.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a slight white head. Grassy aroma with a bit of spice - some breadness. Med minus body. Flavor is clean, arguably crisp, and breadiness isn't obnoxious. Grass isn't very strong tho, and spice? Arguably a good food wash.

16 oz can from Boise Co-op. Pale golden, zero head. Grainy aroma , corn, grits. Taste too, but without the cooked vegetables that is sometimes present in the style. Clean, smooth, nice aftertaste.

Pour is a ultra light gold with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is clean pale lager malt. Flavor is again some clean lager malt and probably some corn adjunct. Nothing special but it is cuper chuggable and has a bit more body to it compared to the mass produced Mexican lagers.
