The first release in Braxton Labs 2019 Pastry Stout Series, this robust and chewy imperial stout is loaded with oats and dark malts to bring forward a huge mouthfeel and big notes of caramel, roast, and chocolate. After fermentation, we added liquid cocoa nibs and fresh mint leaves to recreate one our favorite classic ice cream flavors! Rich and delicate, this big stout leads with deep chocolate and finishes with a cooling mint exhalation.

03/26/2019, Smokey, overly roasted, dead. Hint of mint on the nose and burps maybe. Drain pour. Maybe the first time I confess to a drain pour in here. Sorry Braxton!

No surprise here. Mild roast for the backbone, chocolate, and some fresh meant in the finish. Medium body.

16 oz can from Tavour. Near black pour with minimal head. Mint on the aroma as well as chocolate. Smells like a York Peppermint Patty when you open the wrapper. Tastes just like that as well except for a minor bit of bitterness at the Finish.
