Taster flight at Stone Arch. Dark brown, tiny ring of head. Aroma is roast grains, no more, no less. Taste is pure porter too, with a bone dry finish.

On tap at Gabf. Pours a dark brown with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is roast and cocoa. Medium body, cracker malt, light roast, dry finish, decent.

Sampled from the tap. Pours a deep burgundy brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a combination of roasted malts and coffee with a dark grain backbone. Flavor has more roasted malts and dark grains with a bit of bitter coffee underlying.

At the brewery. Decent porter that isn’t bringing anything new. Well roasted grains, almost giving a charred flavor; chocolate and a hint of coffee.
