Draft at taproom, '15 vintage. Murky copper pour, tight beige head, solid lacing. Aroma is straightforward malts, bready and mildly sweet. Taste brings the booze and warmth, brown bread, hint of citrus zest. Arrives warm and lingers. Right on target

Pours a clear copper-brown, with very little by way of head. Aroma is very fruity/boozy. Flavor is quite fruity, too, with some plum/prune in there, and toffee, caramel, along with a pretty noticeable booze quotient. Not sure barleywine is really my style, but as they go, this is a well-made one.
