Peppery finish. Overall very mellow with a slight Brett note. Brighter in the beginning than the end

Bottle from Tavour Slightly hazy dark amber in color with a thin off white head that dissipates quickly. Earthy spicy lemony with solid brett funk and tannic woody notes while still retaining a caramel like maltiness. Interesting beer.

11.7.18. Watery hints of Brett. Some sweetness but I don't get any of the juniper or spruce, just a dry finish. Slightly saddened. I literally can chug this as water, but kinda don't want to as maybe the flavor will come out eventually. Mix up the dregs?

17 oz bottle. Aroma is lemon, basement, wood, faint chocolate, faintly woodsy. Pours slightly hazy copper with a collapsing off-white head. Taste is a complex amalgam of sour, sweet, bitter, and savory, with lemony, chocolaty, woody, woodsy, basementy flavors. The sour level is a 7/10, the bitterness is higher than you would expect for a sour/wild ale. Interesting stuff, but not true to style at all obviously.

.5l bottle from Tavour. Dark, cloudy amber, off white foamy head. Aroma is brett and wine barrel. Malts take over in the taste, light sweet caramel, with a little tartness from the brett. Slight dryness.

Keg at the brewery, 2/17/19. Clear amber, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of thyme, brett, lemon, oak. Taste is candied lemon, whiskey, oak, juniper. Medium bodied. Not as good as the regular version.
