Sampled @ BKL 2018. A dark brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of mild grainy dark malt, liquorice, bread. Taste of mild roasted dark malt, bread, caramel.

Tap in the brewpub. Cloudy brown, golden cream. Milk powder and roast, light meaty aroma. very dry medium body, burned grains, roast, nutty retronasal.

Tap. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, straw, a bit buttery. Taste is straw, earthy, chocolate, some cooked vegetables. Silky mouthfeel with high carbonation. Not great, a bit too strawy.
