Aroma: The botanicals from the gin jump out first with a caramel and chocolate from the barley wine and a bit of vanilla from the whiskey rounding out the aroma.
Flavor: Lots of caramel and chocolate at the beginning with the botanicals and spices from the gin toward the end.
Aging: Aged in 2 Jackson Hold Stillwoks Great Grey gin barrels which previously held whiskey.

Drat at Bittercreek. Dark, clear amber, thin ring of head. Aroma is dominated by malts, tobacco, sweet, dry leaves, leather. Taste brings out a bit of the barrel aging, but the gin here adds a drying effect, not so much influencing the flavor. Still malty and not overly boozy.
