This beer is a citrusy, orange bomb of an IPA. BOOM! Distinct citrus like nose, bright on the tongue yet drying immediately leaving a hoppy finish. We’ve captured the unique characteristics from generous amounts of citra, simcoe, and cascade hops and then blended them with the pulpy bitterness from blood orange puree.

Pint can from the brewery, 8/21/24. Clear red-orange, large tan head, average retention. Aroma of strong blood orange, bit of pith. Taste is orange, pith, citrus, pale malt. Juicy, mild bitterness.

On tap at Daft Badger, pours a hazy bright orange amber with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with lots of blood oranges upfront, with some citrus hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is heavy on the blood oranges, subduing the hops; somewhat tart, citrus and very orangey. Nice stuff.

Taster at brewery. Medium amber, flat and oily. Blood oranges add some sweet, citrusy bitterness, and a nice slick feel.

On tap at the brewery pours out orange topped with a white head. Nose is nice big orange sweetness upfront some cereal malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet citrus hops and cereal malts.

16 oz can. Aroma is extremely orangey--seems like I can smell flesh, pith and zest here; cotton candy. Pours hazy burnt orange with a collapsing bone-white head. Taste is moderate to highly bitter, lightly tart from the fruit; lots of orange flavor, faint caramel. Pretty thin and lightly carbonated. Pretty tasty, but would be better with more carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a copper orange color with a modest beige, thick strings of lacing lingering behind. The aroma is ripe blood orange and citrus, vibrant and fresh. Sweet citrus hops and lingering orange peel bitters in the taste. In one moment it hints at artificial orange, at the next it’s fresh squeezed OJ. Citra hops abound. Overall a potent and fresh orange filled IPA.
