Using a light, crisp Blonde Ale as a base, we add lemon and ginger after fermentation to create a refreshingly unique summer classic. Both flavors are very much at play in the aroma but then settle down enough in the flavor to enjoy a pint (or three) without being overwhelmed. Call it a bouquet rather than perfume. This is a well-rounded session beer.

12oz can picked up at Harmon's. Pours clear light golden with a small white head, light lacing. Ginger, light grains, wheat, lemon peel. Ok.

I was prepared not to like this. Wish the ginger was a little less but otherwise solid beer.

In der Nase ist deutlich Ingwer auszumachen, im Trunk dann aber sehr zurückhaltend, was ich gut finde. Sonst recht malzig, Limetten auch eher im Hintergrund, erdig, brotig.

Can, pours a light dull golden with a thin brief head. The lemon and ginger are not over powering but the latter gets a littlemsoapy at the end. Otherwise a nice clean blonde with subtle hop character

Sampled from a can this beer poured a yellow color with a huge fluffy yellow white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was yeast, lemon and a hint of ginger. The flavor was sweetish and yeasty with ginger and lemon. Medium length finish. Medium body.

355ml can. Pours a clear gold with a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of biscuit malt, ginger and lemon. Spicy flavour of ginger, weak lemon and grainy malt with a dry finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and soft carbonation. Meh.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours light gold with a foamy white head. Moderate ginger aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is mostly ginger, but it is not a very strong/assertive flavor. However, it is just about the only flavor. Word to brewers: More ginger!!!!!!!!!!!! Since blonde ale is essentially the same worth as pale lagers, the ginger saves the day.

More blonde ale and bitterness than any flavor. GF loved it though and gave it 4.5 🤷‍♂️ I'm going to start mentioning her rating as well when it doesn't match up for reference/science.
