Taster at brewery. Dark brown, some light peeking through, small ring of beige head. Roasty aroma, sweet, pancake syrup. Taste is more roasty bitterness, and some sugary sweetness. One of the best of the lot, only knock is body is a bit thin.

Pours black with a medium sized tan head, some lacing. Aroma of vanilla and chocolate. Flavor of dark malts, vanilla and chocolate

From the sampler tray at the brewery. Aroma is strong strong in vanilla. Pours black with a tan head. Flavor is sweet and roasty, strong in vanilla. Body a little thin. Nice beer, though.
