From Dec 2006

Poured from 12oz bottle a clear yellow gold with a small head of foam that quickly dissipated. Some lacing on the side of the glass is noted.

The smell is grainy with some sweet malt mixed in there.

The taste has a good balance between the sweet malt and bitterness from the hops. The finish is crisp and clean. Quite quaffable.

Everything is done on the light side with this lager but it *is* only 4%abv so the taste for what it is is quite pleasing. I'd drink this again, no problem.

Bottom line: A nice light, refreshing American Lager that makes for a uncomplicated seesion beer.

12oz bottle (4% ABV) pours pale gold with thin bright white head. The aroma is very mild with faint notes of sweetness and maybe the faintest note of hops that seem floral in nature. The taste is sweet, malty and grainy with the added vague to spicy hops in there struggling to give the beer some balance. It gets a bit acidic toward the finish carrying lingering grain notes, hop bitterness and just a tad bit of fruity esters.

Thanks to Goldtwins for this! Light lemon yellow pour with a tall white head and just the slightest bit of chill haze. Light hop aroma. Balanced flavor with some malt and hops but thin without being watery. This just needs an overall intensification of all the principle elements and it wouldn’t be too bad.
