22oz bottle thanks to Steveoj. Pours out amber brown color topped with a sand head. Nose is barrel vanilla sweet caramel malts and pit fruit. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts caramel barrel notes.

Bottle from Bottle Barn. Aroma is dry and dusty. Taste is very strong malts, with an initial ABV assault, astringent, medicinal. Strong.

Bomber bottle. Certainly unique. Cloudy, dark barley wine. Intense notes - bit of alcohol sting. Solid beer

Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a foamy beige head. Aroma of sweet medium dark treacle with bourbon aspects. Full bodied. Flavor is whiskey, dark treacle, hints of wood and vanilla. Maybe a touch of chocolate. It's very rich. Not very dry, but the whiskey covers for hop bitter. So there's heat, but it's very benign. Excellent ale.
