Draught @ Cooperage Brewing Co. Santa Rosa. Pours black with a creamy brown head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, dark chocolate. Flavor is light sweet, lighgt bitter, roast malt, dark chocolate, coffee, light alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish with warming alcohol. 200718

Draft at the brewery. Batch #2 @ 10%. Black with small airy head, fair amount of lacing. Aroma is roast grains with a bit of coffee. Taste is bitter and sharp, coffee, chocolate and burnt toast. Not too warm.

Draft. Black Beer with a tan head. Light roast and light chocolate aroma. Chocolate and licorice flavor. Medium bodied. Chocolate and licorice lingers with light molasses.

Almost black. Has a nice fruitiness, along with chocolate and darker sugars. Light for style...goes down easy. A bit fruity, too. So it's ok.
