Rocky white head left a froth on a hazy vivid golden coloured body. Juicy aroma with nectarine & exotic fruits. Medium bodied, smooth with a livelier back. Nectarine, sweet exotic fruits & mango tastes with hopped up tangy finish. Excellent.

Tap at Kennedys Irish Bar, Copenhagen (29/04/2023) with the mighty palace beating the irons in a entertaining game 🦅🔴🔵 ⚽️4-3 🔨 Sweetish fruity and malty with notes of pineapple, orange and grapefruit, sweet malty backing, light bitter hoppy close, ok.

12 oz. can from The Mansion. Pours a cloudy yellow-gold color with a white head and good retention. Minor spots of lacing. Pine and faint citrus aroma. Flavors of piney hops, and even less citrus flavor than the aroma, with a drying finish. Medium-light bitterness. Semi-crisp mouthfeel, slightly below average carbonation. The 6.7% ABV is well hidden. Not juicy enough for a hazy, IMHO.

12 oz. can, 6.7% ABV, PKGD: 02/03/23
AROMA: I'm first hit with lemon, banana, orange and guava. Which is then followed by a hint of pine resin. NOTE: As the beer warms, the pine resin becomes much more prevalent.
APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy, golden yellow with a very tall head that has a tight, white, froth that dissipates slowly with excellent lacing.
TASTE: Lightly sweet at the beginning, with faint flavors of orange, guava, and pine. There is then a slow transition to mild bitterness, which then does a final transition to a bit of citrus tang. Given the somewhat high levels of citrus scent in the aroma, I'm quite surprised at how subdued the actual citrus flavors are.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium body with a slightly rough texture and a somewhat dry finish. Carbonation seems a little above average.
OVERALL: Aroma-wise and visually, I thought I was really going to like this beer. However, I find myself really wishing the citrus flavors were much more pronounced. Having said that, I do find that what flavors are there, stay on an even keel giving you a consistent experience, even as the beer warms to room temperature. While I've had plenty of other beers in this genre that I much prefer over this one, I would certainly buy this again for various events (parties, pool side lounging, etc.). The mild citrus flavors with a touch of bitterness, makes for a more universally acceptable beer (i.e. won't offend most palates) and is very refreshing on a hot day.
