On tap at the brewery. Pours out black small tan head. Roast malt aroma , earthy. Taste follows with more of the nice roast malts and a bit of chocolate. Not much sweetness for an oatmeal stout.

Dark brown. Dark roasty nose. Soft, sweet, light chocolate, but really a nice balanced bitter chocolate.

Draft, 12 oz pour at Hop and Hound. Pours a cola black with a tan fizz head. Big roast on the aroma. Flavor is heavy roasted malt, coffee hints, and a nice, balancing sweetness. Toasty linger forever. Stand out hops, which is a unique quality for a stout like this for me. Drinks super easy. Very nice.

Draught at The Beer Junction, Seattle
Dark color, almost black. Strong aroma of coffee and burnt bread. Coffee flavor, with just a hint of chocolate, and strong bitterness.

Tap at Everybody’s Brewing, 24/05/13. Extremely dark mahogony brown with a thin tan head. Nose is roast malt, dark toffee, light cocoa, liqourice. Taste follows, light coffee, mineral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light roasty finish. Solid enough stout.
