Hazy deep amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Minerally crisp carbonation. Semi dry malt with toffee - caramel crystal malt sweetness. Hops are piney with a little orange and orange marmalade. Finishes with the malt turning creamy and the piney hops turning bitter. Not the most sophisticated of DIPAs but okay.

Tap at the brewpub, fall 2013 - This brew has a fruity, caramel malt aroma and a copper color. The flavor is sweet up front, too much so as I found it to be syrupy and rather like cough medicine. It’s full bodied with a somewhat bitter finish and overall just a mess. Maybe this was a bad batch, but in my opinion it’s a botched attempt at an IIPA.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out earthy notes, caramel, and vegetal notes - not too much in the way of hops. Flavour brings a lot of vegetal notes, light hops, and some bready notes. Way too vegetal - tons of off-notes here. Not very drinkable. Quite bad.

Bomber from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours dark copper with a foamy near beige head. Lots of earthy fruit in the aroma. Mild caramel. Med body or better. Flavor is earthy with resin. Mild hop burn. Lots of hop, but it could use some fruit. Finishes dry and earthy. And somewhat astringent.
