On Tap at Bittercreek. Deep dark brown with a thick sticky tan head. Rich sweet malty aromas and flavors. Quite sweet, brown sugar and carmelized malts. Thick and sticky. Woody and earthy at the end. Nice sipper

Grunt fill from ALbertsons. Dark brown / mahogany pour, small head rises from the pour, fades to ring. Pure malt aroma, pretty basic, pretty strong. Alcohol heat evident. Taste is also favoring the malts, but brings in a hint of the rye sourness too. Earthy, woody notes. And heat, plenty of it. Exceptionally warm for 10%, but hits the spot. Nice feel and consistency. Going to be sipping on this all night. 12/15/19 bottle from cellar. Malty, woody, leather...heat has toned down a bit, but rating is unchanged
