On Tap at the Boise BP Murky brown/black with a thick tan head and chunky lacing, Dark woody thick palate almost muddy feel. Good bitterness, piney back ground flavors. Modest roast character not super dark. Mellow dark hoppy beer. Quite good.

On tap at 10 Barrel Boise. Pretty dark black pour, small tight beige head. Big roast grains and hops in the aroma, quickly followed by more roast grains, hops, fruity flavors and a bit of ash. Finishes dark and bitter, no surprise.

On tap at 10 barrel boise. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice rich roast hop kick a little smoke and melons. Taste is more of the nice roast malts malts ash smoke and a pine hops hit.
