Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is somewhat fruity with some light cherry notes. Some light grain character and hints of wheat. Light alcohol spice and light oak notes. Some light honey and grain notes. Pours a somewhat hazy, copper color with some amber and red hues with a medium sized, thick, white head that exhibits nice retention as it recedes to a thin film that lingers throughout. Medium lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with a light, faint acidity. Medium light grain notes with moderate cherry flavor. Light oak and medium bourbon notes. Some honey notes and medium light bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really weird beer. The cherry doesn’t work well with the base beer. It’s just kind of an odd beer.

750ml bottle thanks to Steve. Medium amber body with a small white head. Malty aroma accented by the cherries, undertones of the barrel aging. Barrels take more of a front seat in the taste, followed closely by the cherries. A bit tart for a strong ale.
