Poured from 375mL bottle. Dark brown with minimal white head. Nice port barrel notes on the nose, slightly bubble gummy esters, syrupy, sweet and boozy. Expected a bit more, just okay.

Sample at the "Northeastern vs Northwestern Brewery Tasting" on 10/29/2016. Pours murky dark brown with a medium tan head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing. Dark fruit, malt and yeast in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, earthy yeast, stone fruit and underlying bourbon. The finish is boozy with a dark fruit and yeast aftertaste. Good beer overall.

375ml bottle thanks to toby. Flat brown pour. Big boozy aroma, typical quad sweetness, pit fruit notes. Taste is more of the plum, raisin, currants and tons of whiskey. Plenty of heat too. Phenomenal.
