On tap at 10 barrel boise pours out a clear crisp rusty amber topped with a long lasting sand head. Nose is a nice caramel cream some light hops and a touch of pie spice. Taste is a nice eggnog like spice mix and light bitter sweet end.

On tap at the brewery. Reminiscent of a lot of the English holiday ales. Sweet malt dominates aroma and taste, holiday spices a minor afterthought, until the finish, where they blossom. Nice finish to a solid ale.

On Tap at the Boise BP Clear mahogany with a small but fine and creamy light tan head. Sturdy sheets of lacing. Aroma of brown sugar and cinnamon, gingerbread and other "holiday" spices. Malty flavor with more of the juniper and pine notes here. Fairly bitter, and nicely balanced. Not over done in any area. Very nice spiced ale. Not usually a fan of these but this is good.

On tap at the great Portland Holiday Ale Festival. Pours a clear brown color with a medium tan head. A light spicy nose. The flavor is pine, spices, cinnamon, cocoa, light heat, a bit of brown ale. Finishes with more pine. Good.
