It’s came here to drink beer and go to a cabin on the Pacific Ocean.... and I’m almost all set on beer. Almost.

On tap at Boise brewery. This is a pumpkin beer, plain and simple. Nothing really stands out from the style, but it does hide its ABV well.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours copper with a slight off-white head. Aroma is simply pie spice, tho cinnamon may dominate. Med+ body. Flavor is pie spice, but I think there may actually be a squash note. The spice is strong and flavorful, but not obnoxious. IMHO this is one of the nicer "pumpkin" ales I’ve enjoyed.

On tap at the brewery in pdx. Pours a mostly clear orange color with a large off white head. A big sweet fruity pumpkin nose. Huge spices, fresh pumpkin, smooth very good. Damn nice pumpkin beer.

Bomber. Pumpkin beer #3. Aroma is full of pumpkin spices, nutmeg the strongest. Pours hazy pumpkin orange with a medium off-white head with decent retention. Taste is sweet and savory with a little bitterness; licorice is there. Best pumpkin beer yet.

22oz bottle. My first pumpkin beer of the season. Pours out a a cloudy amber topped with a sand head. Nose is nice pumpkin pie spice not heavy on the spice just right. Taste is as the nose with a nice not over the top pumpkin kick.

On Tap at the Boise Brewpub Pretty clear amber with a nice fine soapy wispy head. Sturdy thin sheets of lacing,. Big sweet holiday pumpkin spice aroma. Lots of sharp chemical spiciness in the flavor, dominating the pumpkin pie flavors that are there...but less than I was hoping. Fairly dry, and rather bitter but mostly spicy. Lots of flavor, bold but not what I was hoping for.
