Think about it. If nothing wasn’t here to keep things apart, everything would be one big, stressfull, balled up, messy thing. Probably boring too. Which is why pausing to enjoy nothing is a very good thing. With Hale to Nothing, of course.
There’s nothing artificial or phoney in it. Only good stuff.
Like organic malted barley and hops that give this ale its own, individual refreshing taste.
We think that’s something special.

Nothing in particular
We use echological Pilsener- and Munchenermalt. For hops, we use echological Perle plus Centennial and Fuggles. It has a flavoury taste with a slightly hint of citrus.
Hale is somewhat malty and well balanced.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours orange golden with a fast dissipating white head. Aroma has some herbal hops, tropical fruits and a sweet malt base. Something skunky also there. Taste is less than I expected from the aroma. Far less. Watery sour bitterness, wet cardboard with some sour herbal water. Aftertaste is long but I am not sure if this is a good thing - at least there are some pure malt flavours, I almost like. Overall, pretty bad beer that I had to force myself not to drain pour. I wonder why almost all organic beers taste so bad… This one had at least a decent aroma.

330ml bottle [Thanx Bobele!]. Clear golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Malty aroma with a nuttily and caramel touch, floral, minimally citrusy hoppy overtones. Taste is dry grassy hoppy, floral notes, minimally chalky and soapy, cautious malt basis; light body.

33cl bottle. Unclear golden, thin white head. Slightly fruity, nutty aroma, distant skunky off-notes. Flavor has caramel, hops, floral notes. Finish s sharp, short and quite biting bitter with some caramel as well. Light to medium bodied. Without the off notes in the aroma, quite enjoyable.

Small offwhite head. Clear amber body with some small particles and very light carbonation. Light nutty caramelly aroma with wooden notes. Dryish earthy caramelly taste with papery wooden notes. Mid-to-light body. Slightly sharp mouthfeel. Dry-bitter wooden earthy aftertaste with spicy metallic notes. Too sharp and one-dimensional, really. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks David Cohen. Slightly hazy golden. Aroma of slightly stale floral hops. Flavor has light malt sweetness, a bit grainy, and a decent bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. A bit past its prime but quite OK.

Clear light copper coloured body with an amber glow and a thin, one centimetre, fast-dying soapy white head. Aroma of pale malt, cardboard, funky candy sugar and a bit of off-flavours - nothing great. Super light-bodied; Watery, cardboardie, grassy and herbal flavours with almost nothing pleasant - pretty bland, and the flavours that do come through aren’t good at all. Aftertaste is mild with water, cardboard and a hint of grassy flavours - that’s it. Overall, a very bad beer and definitely not worth buying, let along buying and bringing back across the pond to drink at home. I sampled this stubby 33cL bottle purchased at System Bolaget in central Stockholm, Sweden on 29-June-2012 for SEK4,90 sampled at home on this side of the Atlantic in Washington on 26-November-2012.
