Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is loads of orange, orange peel, mandarin, light malt, some hoppy notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Well yes, this certainly lives up to its name, bucketloads of orange, mandarin, with some hoppy notes. One-sided and not great, but being a citrus freak I enjoy this...

On Tap Dull orange light amber with just a thin skin of of white bubbles. Non descript very light malt aroma. Some fruity hop character, and yes, a littel of the orange comes through. A nice touch that saves this from sub par. so....par

Sample at the brewpub. Clear ruddy orange color with a medium thin white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, grassy hop and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of orange peel, floral hops and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hopy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Mild orange zest aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is orange/citrus with zestiness. It does indeed transition from bitter peel to mild sweetness. There’s some mildly toasty malt support. Not bad. Not my desert island ale, but certainly drinkable.

Might be rating this a bit late as I see it’s a Summer seasonal, but hey, not worried, seemed like everything turned out pretty good and would most likely go at this again in the Summer.
This was poured into a becher glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a slim finger’s worth of foamy head that dissipated immediately leaving messy sliding lacing.
The smell opens up with sweet orange peel over top of sweet grassy hops. Some extra light citrus rounds out the aroma.
The taste was mainly sweet with an ample amount of semi-bitter grassy hops. Lingers a bit in the aftertaste and rushes in on the finish nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable feel about it. Carbonation runs fairly light (but I believe this is an old bottle) so there is a slight stickiness to this.
Overall, as an APA it works. I don’t see anything wrong with it. I’d have again preferably in the Summer when it’s fresh. Cans of this would probably be spectacular on a hot day on the boat.

Bottle, pre Thanksgiving dinner. Poured a true orange color with a moderate sandy head. Something in the nose didn’t jive with me... floral and Malty, but sort of a dull artificial orange thing to it. Taste is better, a lightly hopped pale ale with light orange accents. Sweet and ever so slightly bitter. OK, but it leaves plenty of room for improvement.

Bomber bought at Super 1. 5.5 % ABV, 25 IBUs. Best by 11/11/15. Aroma is doughy, orange, Smarties. Pours hazy orange with a collapsing white head. Taste is lightly bittersweet with flavors of orange, malt, grain. Mouthfeel is a little creamy, a little watery. Decent enough.

Bottle from Albertsons. A nice dry pale ale, orange seems to me quite in the background, and not as up front as one would expect from the name. Still it lends enough citrus character to accent the hops.

On tap at fatheads. Pours a clear orange color with a small white head. A big fruity orange nose. The flavor is big citrus, oranges, tea, light toast. Solid.
