On tap at Boise pub. Pours out a brown with some ruby highlights topped with a small sand head. Nose is nice pit fruit and a malty kick. Taste is more of the pit fruit spice and some barnyard dusty notes.

On tap at Boise brewpub. Initial pour is dark brown / ruby with fine, tight head. Sweet pit fruit aroma, overly sweet taste kills the vibe. Maybe a bit more time in the barrel. Initial presentation good, drinking so-so, finish bad.

On Tap at the Boise BrewPub Hazy deep redish brown with a modest light tan saopy head and lacing. Big and rich with lost of flavors going on. Some dusty woody maltiness, and some apple and prune maybe. Im getting more of a dark Belgian type attitude from it as well. But with not quite the FG Dusty musty end. A bit odd, but Ill finish it...not to worry.
