12 oz can. Aroma is toasty, caramel, spicy. Pours clear amber with a collapsing bone white head. Taste is sweet and toasty with great flavors; spicyβnot with heat, but with spices, being faintly reminiscent of root beer or something. Fantastic lager, and way above expectations.

Can sample at a tasting at Drorβs place. Thanks Denny. As Sockeye Seasonal Lager Maibock. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, toast, a bit of fruity hints and and alcoholic touch. Sweetish flavor, toasty, malty, with caramel, and a bitterish in the finish. Medium-bodied.

Aroma and flavor of nuts, roast grains. Thin head fading to nothing on dark brown body. Taste a bit more bitter than 17 IBUs, was expecting this to be a heller bock, so pleasantly surprised to find it dark.

16 ounce can, just listed as maibock. Pours a dark ruby color with a small white head. A light fruity nose with some caramel. Flavorful: rich ripe fruits, strawberries, some dusty sweet malts, dark caramel and toffee. Earthy dry finish. Good.

Draft: Pours a chestnut brown with reddish notes. Smaller white head and light lacing. Nose is heavy on the malt with earth tones and caramel. The taste is more malt oriented with a toasty feel, earthiness, and nuts. A sweeter maltier feel overall. Not bad.

On Tap at the BrewPub. Nice deep redish brown with a modest light tan head. Malty, sewwt woody aroma Nice heavy feel, a bit sweet and easy on the hop bitterness. Goes down easy despite its robust body and ABV. Washed down my Chipotle Burger nicely.
