12 oz can courtesy of Buckeyboy--thanks. Translucent copper-gold color with a small white head that soon fades. The aroma is soft with grasses and spicy hay/straw. The taste is mild malts, some banana, hay, mild fruitiness. Palate was on the thin side but still appropriate for the style. Overall: not the worst American wheat. Oddly this tasted way better when I took a big gulp as opposed to a fine sip. When I took the big gulp that is when I got the banana and fruit. Paired well with some roasted cashews.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is honey and toasted malt. Medium body, bread, wheat, honey, light finish, good.

On tap at Sockeye Pub & Grill, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light wheaty notes, not much else. Flavour is very mellow, with soft wheat and biscuity notes. Not much to speak of here. Meh.

One of the better wheat ales, nice slick and slippery body. Toss the orange slice of orange, not needed here. Dark golden with small creamy head. Aroma and taste is pure wheat, but subdued.

On tap at the Sockeye brewpub. Pours up gold with slight haze, off white head and a thick coating of lace left on the glass. The mild aroma is sweet with sugary malts, some wheat and a sense of wort. The taste has an assertive hoppy start with spice and earthiness. By midway I get a touch of wheat being noticed rolling into a thin layer of sweet malts. It ends a bit dry.

Draft: Copper color that is surprisingly clear, medium sized head and sticky lacing. Mild nose of malt, citrus, hints of wheat. Taste is more malty, light citrus, trace amounts of wheat. Barely a hint of hops.

On Tap at the brewpub Clear yellow with a trace of white head and no real lacing. Light sweet papery flavor and a faint wheat/straw aroma. Was hoping for more...something
