On tap at Crooked Fence barrelhouse. Pours out a hazy amber color topped with a sand head. Nose is pine needles juniper grapefruit hops and a bread malt. Taste is more of the pine needles grapefruit pithy bitterness and the malty notes.

Not sure about the low ratings, but this is a really good IPA. Growler from Crooked Fence taproom. Pours cloudy amber (cloudiness eventually settles) with thick rocky head. Hoppy aroma with some malt evident also. Taste is initially sharp piney hops, malt and mild spiciness in the background.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger with light malt.

On tap at the Boise brewhouse. Cloudy orange with a dense and lasting light tan head. Subtle malty aroma, with not much hoppiness coming though yet. Plenty of IBU bite, but not so much in the flavor. Grassy and papery with some resinous pine notes. A late lingering bitterness that testifies to its style. Good body, finishes neither dry nor heavy.

Bomber. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is very light sweet butter and fruit. The flavor is just terrible: rich buttery infection, green hops, imagine bitterness and butter. I will re-rate again and hopefully it will be better. Footbalmed.

Clear golden with a medium sized off-white head and good lacing. Aroma was all butter and caramel. Flavor was worse. Not right (I hope this wasn’t the intention), infected bottle. footbalmed
