Doolie’s is a dark ale with ruby red overtones which show up if you hold it to the light. A slightly roasted flavor profile and the darker color comes from the use of three different specialty malts that are roasted in varying degrees, to stringent specifications.

On Tap at the brewpub. Very dark amber. More like a bock. Very nice full sandy colored head. PLenty of long lasting lacing. Aroma is dark, woody, with roasted malts and only slight bitterness. Flavor was similar, again, quite dark for the stlye. A robust, heavy amber that has a nice hop/malt profile. Tasty.

Loved the color in this brew - dark amber with reddish tones and a small tan head. Very strong maltiness with subtle roasty tones and some caramels. Not much hop presence, but overall a solid amber ale.
