500ml bottle [4.9% abv as per label]. Opalescent, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy, minimally spicy, pale malty and slightly grassy-spicy, hoppy aroma. Taste is slightly grainy, pale malty, mildly bitter, grassy-spicy hoppy, slightly mineral, low and subtle residual sweetness. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, scattered, prickly carbonation. Light, clean and simple, balanced, refreshing - nice.

Bottle from Meibier. Clear blond colour, white foam. Light sweet, a bit malty, some cereal notes. Easy drinable. Great thirst quencher.

At the source. Last leg of the 14k Wanderweg. Aroma has a malty base with alluring floral notes. Very grainy character, but very fresh. Taste is mildly bitter the whole way through. Crisp, clean finish. Unremarkable on the whole but above average for the style.

Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, fruity malt, sweet malt, light grass. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210430]

50cl swing top bottle. Eine klare hell goldgelbe Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Aroma: hell malzig, leicht getreidig, leicht hopfig, etwas schwach. Geschmack: leicht floral hopfig, käutriger Hopfen, hell malzig, etwas Getreide, milde Bitterkeit.

0,5 l swing top bottle from Bierzwerg, Greven. Clear golden in the glass with a two finger white frothy head. Pale caramel smell. Taste is pale grainy, little bit grassy and citrus. Mid carbonated. Low bitterness in the aftertaste. Inconspicuous easy drinking Helles.

500 ml bottle. Unclear golden with a big fluffy head. Grain, hay, citrus, a bit metal. Medium bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry bitter finish. This is what you call a standard Brotzeit Helles.

Bottled, from Hier Gibt's Bier. Clear golden, mid sized head. Mild fruity nose. Quite sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Fruity with some bread, mild floral notes. Fairly low bitterness. Very mild overall.
