Bottled. Pours black with beige head that disappears quickly. Coffe and roasted malts dominate in aroma and taste, with some slight hoppy bitter and bread/biscuits notes. The creamy mouthfeel is quite pleasant and combined with the soft carbonation and light body, make it easily drinkable. Speaking of the light body, it’s a bit too light, could be more full-bodied because this way it feels slightly watery. Not bad, but there’s room for improvement.

Can on the 'Balaton' from Budapest Deli to Fonyod, picked up from Beer Selection, Budapest, 10/06/23. Lighter shade of black topped with a khaki head that thins to a swirl. Nose is roast malts, dried fruits, dark chocolate, raisins. Taste comprises earthy roast, cocoa powder, toffee, brown bread, dried fruit rinds, charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Okay stout.

Bottle. Brownish black colour with a mediumsized foamy beige head. Aroma is roasted, some coffeeish, mild chocolaty and vanilla tones along with a bit of wooden and nutty tones. Flavour is following the pattern of the aroma, but also has a quite nice floral hoppy bitterness to it.

Blik gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een medium beige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en koffie. De smaak is vol, gebrande mout, chocolade en koffie.

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, some malty spiciness. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty, slightly citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, some lemon, orange, mandarine, slightly roasty finish. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Rather sweet-ish, little roastiness - OK.

0,33l from bottle at apartment in Balatonakali bought at the local Cba supermarket. BB 01.08.2022.Black color, small coffee colored head. Smells earthy, toffee, peppery, bit roasty, nutty, nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes earthy, ashy, peppery, spices, vanilla, leathery, toffee. Finishes lightly bitter with notes of ash, vanilla and peppery notes. Okish, taste wise not that exciting. A bit boring
