Similar enough to a red wine lambic this one didn’t stand out too much to me

Novare Res draught, 6/16/22. Blood red, clear. Small, pink head. Wacky nose with anise, mint, heavy barnyard. Not tons of berry, though some deep blueberry-raspberry compote-like notes. Heavy, even slightly blanding, yeast and/or mineral. Weird continues with green bell pepper and fernet-like spiciness. Light bodied with long mineral and well attenuated berry juice finish. Just a real puzzling one but certainly enjoyable. Light and drinkable, great berry character, low sourness.

0,75l bottle at home. Vintage 2021. deep red color, small pink head. smells funky, earthy, berry notes, spices. lovely smell full body, pearly carbonation. tastes berry notes, funky, spices, tannins, leathery, juicy. finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of berry notes, spices and leathery notes. love this beer, not as juicy as some of the fresher ones I had, but lovely complexity, berrys come through more after it warms.
