500ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, golden colour with average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally starchy and spicy, pale malty aroma, a touch of floral honey. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally starchy, pale malty, mildly bitter, hoppy counterpart, hints of honey, floral honey; lingering, sweet-ish finish with a hoppy bite. Creamy texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation. Well crafted (nice colour, good mouthfeel), clean, a bit cautious, simple and monotonous - OK.

Clear blond colour, white foam. Very sweet, notes of honey, a bit malty, no bitterness. Not very well balanced.

Bottle from Beer Merchants and drunk at home Clear gold colour lasting white head . White pepper floral hop maibock aroma. Yes a bock mouthfeel I.e. strongish in abv like a lot of Greif beers clear gold clean. Good hops. Bit too much abv without enough backbone.c

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden and lightly gushy. Then thin head. Nose - unusual for a lager, there's banana esters. Also caramel and light bread. Taste - sweet banana bread. Palate - light to medium bodied, a bit sweet really. Overall - not sure about this one.

--Bottled at TEJA tasting. -- Clear golden, small head. Distinct grassy nose. Mid dry with solid body and well rounded mouthfeel. Grassy with solid, grainy yet creamy mouthfeel. Long bitter warming finish. Interesting dry bockbier.

Bottle picked up from Hier Gibt's Bier webshop, Eckersdorf, Franconia, Bayern. Consumed at home Tuesday 1st March 2022 listening to Marc Riley on 6Music. Pours hazy warm gold with a white head atop. Touch sweet and lacking a little carbonation, honey, malty, probably my least favourite of the evening which is a shame as a Heller Bock would normally beat a Helles for me 9/10
