Draught @ Paulaner Bräuhaus, München. Sweetish, malty and caramely bock with some warming alcohol, caramely notes, earthiness and toffee, hints of strawberries. Heavy but quite easy to drink.

Dunkler, getreidig herber Beginn. Süßlich röstig, harmonisch, rund. Weich, angenehm mild malzig, langer Nachhall. 8/9/10/9//9

Sampled @ BKL 2018. A slightly hazy orange brown beer with a mid sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of strong red malt, caramelish malt, nuts. Taste of mild sweet reddish malt, caramelish malt, some nuts.

Rerate a bit later: Came together quite nicely now, moreish, dangerous. Tap. Dark amber, white lace, fruity roast, medium light, sweet sugary, dry caramel. Nice, leeetle bit too sweet and sticky, quite ok herb and sweet honey finish.

(on tap) Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a firm mid-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Yeasty, slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, dried fruits and plums. Sweet and slightly bitter-tart flavour, almost full bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Delicately sugary and toasted malt character with caramel, subtle fruity notes and delicately herbal hoppy spice from behind; sweet and delicately bitter-tart finish with hints of booze shing through. Tap. Hazy brown color with ruby highlight and a beige head. Aroma is strawberries, chocolate, bready, molasses. Taste is sweet strawberries, other berry hops, chocolate, bready, roasted flavours in the finish. Silky mouthfeel with high, but soft carbonation. Well-made, but a tad too sweet for me.
