Over 60% wheat and Bavarian yeast, this soft and creamy beer is bang on the money. Its Fruity, malty with some spicy notes.

Bottle. Cloudy amber with a decent, long-lasting white head. Aroma was mainly yeasty with a touch of cloves. Flavour of bananas, but this was more subdued than with many other hefeweizens, and some more spice with a dry finish. Ok.

Large 660ml Bottle. This poured hazy and Golden and was a bit lively. Detected some bananaโ€™ishโ€™ flavour in there and was quite sweet. Canโ€™t say I am overly familiar with this style but seemed a pretty decent effort.

Cloudy blond color. The aroma is a bit chemical at first, then shows a spicy character. The taste is quite unusual, quite sweet, yet with a stgrong spicy (cloves) component, persistent in the final. Not too much professional, but enjoyable.

660ml bottle from Sainsbury. Golden hazy with thin white quickly disappearing head. Yeast, banana aroma with a touch of spice. More banana fruit in mouth with lemon and vanilla followed by finish of clove and some hop. Not bad. Good on Sainsbury for contracting Meantime to produce an interesting range of beers

(Bottle 33 cl) Orangey golden and hazy with a bubbly head that quickly collapses and almost vanishes completely. Yeasty sediment. Lovely fruity esters with the typical notes of citrus and banana. Very dry palate. Meantime really manages to brew very well to style - this is no exception. 200505

Orange beer with a strong head. The aroma is lightly wheat beerish with a hint of banana, and the flavour is quite plainly bitter and banana. Overall quite a plain and not too refreshing wheat beer.
