Over 60% wheat and Bavarian yeast, this soft and creamy beer is bang on the money. Its Fruity, malty with some spicy notes.

Hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity with banana and citrus. Sweet, wheaty flavour with a full body. Decent enough, but nothing extraordinary.

[330ml bottle at The Narrows, Limehouse, London] Pours a lovely copper gold with a moderate but dissipating off-white head. Cloudy orange when sediment swirled in - slightly darker than other wheat beers I’ve tried. Orange, leamon and banana flavours are softened by hints of fudge. The flavour lingers pleasantly afterwards. Slightly too prickly carbonation is the only annoyance in what is otherwise a very enjoyable and surprisingly mellow wheat beer.

Hazy golden coloured body with a light white head and a nice amount of bubbles coming from the bottom. Mild aroma of bananas, wheat and yeast - a touch of hops thrown in too. Medium-bodied; Strong astringent effervescence and a nice wheatie and yeastie flavour coupled with some banana and clove tastes too. Aftertaste shows too much alcohol and a decent amount of wheat. Overall, a decent beer - not an amazing beer, but worth trying! I sampled this beer on draught I sampled this beer on draught at The Market Porter in Borough, London, England on 13-December-2008.

Tap @ Market Poter. Definitely not a german hefeweizen, more like a Hoegaerdse Das. Quite spicy, caramel. Slight fruity, slight banana.

330 ml bottle; BB 07 03 09. Light banana and wheat aromas. Hazy gold amber color with a white head. Medium body and carbonation. Flavors of banana, wheat, coriander (?) and probably a bit of clove. Finish is dry, and spice tingles the mouth.

330ml bottle from Waitrose, Kingston. Amber, slightly cloudy, highly carbonated, thick white head that vanished immediately;wheaty aroma - a trace of esters, but not as much as you’d normally expect from a Hefewiezen; refreshing with some citrus flavours and bitterness, but with musty floury overtones. Sweetish finish. Lacks most of the characteristics of a Weissbier, no spice or banana.

No head, just a thin white film. Hazy opaque deep orange body. Watery bananaish yeasty aroma. Watery dry hoppy wheaty banana taste with wooden notes. Dry metallic wooden wheaty aftertaste. Not terribly fond of this one. (0.5pt keg at Greenwich Union.)

Draught. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat mixed in a lager. Sadly, the same goes for the flavour, so I didn’t find the beer pleasant at all.
