Bottle, 50cl ceramic. It’s a clear, dark golden to amber mead, still and headless, quite oily. Wonderful honey aroma with some cellar notes and a hint of flowers. Alcohol too. The flavor has a nice and pleasant sweetness, with honey, flower notes, alcohol and a faint cellar touch. Oily and full-bodied, warming and soft on the palate. Lasting finish with alcohol, flowers and lots of honey. A very pleasant mead, certainly one I’d like to repeat. 131026

White ceramic bottle, 16%. Very sweet mead aroma, nicely spicy and OK boozy. Shiny golden colour. The flavour is nicely sweet and spicy. Tastes a little oxidised, but it is still an extremely pleasant mead.

Bottle. Pours clear perfect amber. Clear aroma of honey and, above all, alcohol. Sweet flavour of honey with roasty notes. Good. Not as heavy as a półtorak and so more readily drinkable in larger amounts.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear deep golden. The aroma has a little butter and caramel. Medium-bodied, sweetish honey, nuts and brown sugar. Fairly boozy finish. Somewhat unrefined yet still pretty good. 050211

Bottled (PBF)
Clear orange-amber color, no head. Deep aroma in the nose: honey, wood, clover. Flavor has strong honey flavor, then strong alcohol and again leading to clover spiced honeyness. Tasty.
