Sample at Kurtkeller 007: Founders-tastic 01 on 03/06/2014. This beer is a dark oily black with a thick brown head. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of charred malt, coffee and chocolate. Full-bodied with a bold coffee flavor, along with roasty malt, chocolate and raisins. The finish is roasty with a burnt malt and bittersweet chocolate aftertaste. Solid Imperial Stout overall.
