12 ounce can. Opaque black brown color. Small creamy tan head. Roasted malt nose hints at chocolate and wood. Creamy mouthfeel leads to a roasted malt flavor that hints at cocoa, coconut and pine. There are subtle underlying notes of lemon and mint as well. Finish is chewy and sticky. This is a delicious, well crafted Porter, worth seeking out.

Pretty black. Aroma is coconut, roses, perfume, lots of oils, bounty. Taste is slightly smoked dark coffee and chocolate. Very sweet. Soothing and finish of more perfumy stuff and some smoky counterpoint. Not bad.

Draft at the brewery. Coffee, earth, wood. Smooth and roasty, mild sweet, light dry. Clean, easy drinking. Lighter body than I expected, which works great here.
