A beer with bright copper hues, a slight, homogeneous hazy appearance and with a moderate cream colored head. It immediately releases scents of honey and a subtle aroma of yellow fruit, and then closes with notes of biscuits and delicate balsamic hints. It strikes with its delicate sweetness and the balance between the notes of honey - which are there, but are not cloying - fruit and flowers, ranging from mature apricots to chamomile blossoms.

bottle from voldby købmandsgård. waxed, looked nice, but was a bit of a pain to open. hazy yellow, small white head. aroma is dominantly sour and grassy. I wonder if it was supposed to be sour, or if it is infected. Flavor is an improvement. clear sweet honey taste, some malts, and a sour citrussy lemongrassy balance, that tastes like it was purposefully brewed that way. patale is bubbly in a weird way, like it is infected. No grass in the flavor. Not sure i like it that much.

Bottle at KØ17. Cloudy golden colour. Soapy and sweetish flavour. Hint of wax and honey. I do not like the wax and soap notes very much, but quite well-balanced for a honey beer.

Jun ’16. A 0.75 l bottle. It poured hazy orange body with big, but short living head. Floating particles inside. Weak aroma, honey, apple, maybe hazelnut, with bread, lightly lager-ish touch and roasted bread malts. Flavor, on the other hand, was much stronger, lightly sweet and gets more sweeter later on. Honey, light spicy, especially black pepper and lightly yeasty. Grainy malt was overwhelmed by the honey but still present a little bit. Alcohol was extremely well hidden in its full body. Long, cloying honey and sugary finish. A fine honey ale, gotta love Baladin, although not that complex as some of their other beers.

0.75l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. A slow, but still fast enough gusher. Got it over the glass quickly enough to avoid and bad vibes around the table. Looks decent at first with a big off-white head but it doesn't really last for long. Quickly fizzing away in to nothing really. The beer itself is mild mild blurry and orange-golden in color. Smells like honey. Honey and popcorn? Mild spiced also with traces of coriander and something I cannot find a name on. A spice. Allspice? Not sure. Quite high, too actually on the carbonation, lively almost and it's light oily in the mouth. Not a 9 percent abv on the mouthfeel at all. Honey, sweet raspberry juice and it's just sugary sweet all the way this. More coriander before it ends with almond essence. Nah, this was not for me. 14.01.2015

Unclear orange-ish color with a small off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma, but not that good. Medium + body and a soft carbonation. Tad sweet. Some spices, honey-ish, vinous and malty flavor. Weird and not that good really.

Swietne piwo metne pomaranczowe i geste, piana srednia niezbyt trwala. Mimo miodu dosc wytrawne, naturalne posmaki miodowe uzupelniaja sie doskonale z goryczka. Piwo kompletne rozgrzewajace, a alkohol niewyczuwalny. Bardzo dobrze wykorzystano tu dobrej jakosci naturalny miod.
