Draught @ Ørsted Ølbar. Hazy orange color, small white head. Smell malts, hops, resin, grapefruit lightly. Taste malts, hops, grapefruit, resin, spruce and moderate to heavy bitter. Sticky texture, nice long lightly fruity, pretty bitter and resinous aftertaste. Medium to full body, medium but soft carbonation. I love these kind of beers!

Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen
Hazy dark amber color with small head. The aroma is not too strong, but interesting; meaty, light smoke, light malt, very light chemicals (not the expected hops). Good body strength; malt flavor, quite sweet, with whiskey malt character (think of Adelscott, not peat); strong bitterness, but balanced in the concoction; mild fruits (bitter oranges) and slightly stronger hop resins; also the alcohol is well managed.
Peculiar and very nice beer, fresh.

Mycket fruktig doft. Extremt fruktig smak. Alkoholen lyfter verkligen IPA . Otroligt balanserad öl. Absolut bästa dubbel IPA jag någonsin druckit tillverkad utanför USA. Fantastiskt.

Bottle. It’s a lightly hazy orange-golden beer with a small, light beige head soon diminishing. The aroma is peachy and piney, with some maltyness. Dull for a DIPA I think. There’s not enough bitterness in the flavor, maybe not enough of anything actually. Piney and fruity, with malty sweetness. Full body, soft and low carbonation. Bitter finish though, with too little of everything else. Certainly not a beer I’ll repeat, even though it’s decent. It’s too dull I think. 130430

Bottle from BarleyWine Copenhagen - amber colour with puffy white head. Strong citrus and caramel malt, floral and herbal notes slightly boozy but hides the abv well. Great stuff this.
