Draught @ SBWF’12, 10 days old
Pours dark copper orange with a massive white head. Aroma of fresh fruits, grass, floral notes and hints of malts. Taste is quite sweetish with malty notes and hints of fruity hoppiness, floral notes and caramel. Finish is sweetish and hoppy with a lot of floral notes and caramel. Okay, quite tasty IIPA, not very bitter though.

Half liter bottle pours clear copper with gold edges and nice lasting off white head. The aroma offers up thick sticky grapefruit juice, citrus fruit peel, tangelo and some sugar notes in the background. The taste has big strong citrus hop notes and a splash of sweetness here and there before the grapefruit, tangelo, lime and orange peel run up into robust levels of resiny bitter hoppiness. Wow! This is yummy in all the right places for the style. Well done!

500mL bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a hazy vibrant orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrusy hops and orange peel. Flavour is fruiy and zesty - tropical fruits and orange zest, with a quite a bitter, hoppy finish. Very solid.

Bottle. Pours with a clear orange hue with a fluffy-white head. Aroma is big time floral hops, citrus, lemon peel, tangerine. Resin, light caramel. My guess for hop locations mentioned in the description would be Japanese, New Zealand and US hops. Flavors of peach, stone fruit, citrus, resiny, medium bitterness. Very dry finish. Malt profile is bready with the slightest hint of caramel. Lingering bitterness. Dry, medium bodied, very warming. Medium bubbles. Surprisingly good, this has held up well to the transatlantic transport.

Pours a nice, clear orange-gold with a healthy white head. Aroma is candied orange peel, pineapple, kiwi, grapes, mint and earth. It’s backed up by a sugary malt backbone. There’s a ton of hops in this one. Taste starts out with sweet citrus but quickly gets bitter. Fortunately, it’s not a bland bitterness. No apparent booze. Lasting hop bitter and mildly dry finish. Very nice DIPA with a great label.
