At Kaschk: pours clear brown with beige head. Aroma is toast, slight chocolate. Taste is bitterish, lightly sweet.

Richard Wagner Dunkel, Flasche per Post vom lobenswerten Landbierparadies24. - Tiefes Kupferrotbraun, klar; sparsame Schaumbildung. - In der Nase solides, sauber gerstiges Röstmalz, Brotkruste, zarte Karamelsüße und mild-aromatische fränkische Hopfung mit Orangeat und Anklängen an Moos. - Antrunk satt und kernig röstmalzig mit zarter Karamelsüße und sich langsam steigernder, sehr beträchtlicher Malzbittere, die in einen langen, trocken malzbitteren Nachtrunk übergeht und den Hopfen nur am Rande mitspielen läßt, fein zitrusfruchtig und blaß herbal. Milder rezent, vollmundig, hart im Mund. Langer bitterer Nachtrunk - aber das hatte ich ja bereits erwähnt. - Ungewöhnlich malzbitteres Dunkles mit verhaltener doch angenehmer fränkischer Hopfung. 50cl fles van Bierothek Bamberg. Kastanjebruine kleur, beige kraag. Noten, mout, vers bruinbrood, hint van rogge, droog, cacao, bitter. Lichte body, zacht. Lekker.

Bottled 500ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Cola coloured, medium sized beige head, malty caramel nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light nutty and grainy with dry sweet finish. Bit too sweet.

Bottle, 500 ml shared with Miro B, Max and kajser27. Brown with beige head. Malty, caramel, sweet, bit roasted, tad watery, bitter finish. Medium bodied.

0,5 l bottle from our local Hol´ Ab! market A darkest clear copper in the glass with a nearly two finger very foamy pale beige head. Looks really good. Pleasant malty grainy smell. Taste is dark malty, sweet toasted, nuts, little bit dry. Mid carbonated. Highly recommended.
